(Steve Paikin keeps asking for email questions@electiondebate08.ca so I sent one.)
To Mr Harper;
I read online that The Green Party recently unearthed via the Access to Information Act an economic study from the government dated January 16th 2007 which showed that the end result of a carbon tax would not result in economic ruin but in fact prosperity. (Ref: Cost Curves for Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction: The Kyoto Period and Beyond)
On what basis, on what data, can the CPC continue to justify its rhetoric against a carbon tax, when its own government studies support it and with so many world renowned economists from Canada and abroad supporting it as an example of top business thinking?
